DJ & Extras

The basic service provided by The Deadbeats is 120 minutes of live music with PA, lights, announcements and recorded music all night. Here are some ideas for extras we can provide to make your event even more special…

DJ

Booking a separate DJ can be expensive, time consuming and take up extra space on the night. The Deadbeats can provide a DJ who will take requests before and during the event, make announcements and mix songs to ensure the party never stops. Plus, no need for separate contracts, deposits or communication before the event.

First Dance & Requests (Free!)

For no extra cost, The Deadbeats will learn your first dance and up to 2 other new live songs. Examples of first dances we have played in the past can be seen at the bottom of our Songs Page

Acoustic Trio

In addition to the regular 5-piece, The Deadbeats party band has performed hundreds of shows as an acoustic trio. This line-up is ideal for background music during the meal or while your guests arrive

Live Dinner Jazz & Blues

Another option for live background music during your meal or reception is the Deadbeats Jazz & Blues Band. The basic line-up consists of drums, bass and two guitars. Additional lead instruments such as piano, brass, woodwind and vocals can be provided upon request

Bandeoke

The Deadbeats can perform a special Bandeoke set in which your guests get the chance to front the band and sing their favourite songs from our repertoire. This option is great for corporate events and birthdays
